The Four Foundations of Mindfulness

 

1) Contemplation of the Body

      *Breathing *Posture *Sensations

2)  Contemplation of Feelings

       *Pleasant *Unpleasant *Neutral

3)  Contemplation of the Mind

        *Observing your mind and habits

4)  Contemplation of Universal Laws of Matter and Mind

        *Opening to life as it is experienced in the NOW


 

So, as I realized that I had locked myself out of my running car and locked myself out of my house (first thing this morning) I heard the Universe speak. Slow down, deep breaths, pay attention to this moment. It was a crisp morning here!!

I will continue to work on my mindfulness.
