Hope and Fear

What is the Shadow?

“Everyone carries a shadow, and the less it is embodied in the individual’s conscious life, the blacker and denser it is” ~ Carl Jung

Hope and fear come from a feeling that we lack in something.

These feelings come from a sense of poverty.

We can't simply relax within ourselves. We hold on to hope (that something will happen or someone will fix the problem) and this hope robs us of the present moment. We feel fear that someone else knows what is going on or knows what to do or that there's something missing in us. We fear what will happen, again robbing us of our present moment.

Therefore we unconsciously believe something is lacking in our world.

Watch how you use the words hope and fear.

Pay attention today when you use those 2 words. You will see that you use them quite frequently. What are you really meaning and what are your intentions when you use each of those words? This type of Shadow Work or Shadow Journaling will help you better understand yourself, your traumas and the old wounds you might be carrying. Stay in this moment with the intention to understand how we all mindlessly use words that keep us in a state of lacking. Challenge yourself to stay present with the idea that this moment is enough.

I am enough.
